For those who admire street art, there is a 3G PS Vita exclusive street art app on its way. t@g allows you to crate your own tag and share it virtually in the real world using Augmented Reality and GPS. It seemed this app also had the ability to flag, catalogue and share real street art, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
With Travel Bug you can create your own bug. You send your bug on missions, that you can track it on a map. Using the near app, you can compete and it takes “travel snaps” which is given a travel-based mission to complete. Using near, the app also offers a competitive component, where users bugs race to be the first to reach a destination.
Ecolibrium is a “eco-system simulator”. You create an environment and you have to maintain balance within this eco-system. Using near you can trade species that you collected with other Ecolibrium users.
Imaginstruments uses the Vita’s various input methods to play drums, guitar, theremin and the violin. There is the ability to record tracks and share with other Imaginstruments users. Would recommend to play this app with headphones.
Sony Australia says that these apps will be available in the “coming months”.
