Namco Bandai today announced Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ANZ Edition, will release 13th September in Australia and New Zealand, on PS3 and Xbox 360.

If you pre-ordered from EB Games and JB Hifi, you’ll get DLC characters: Michelle Chang, Angel, Kunimitsu and Ancient Ogre. Incidentally, Namco says TT2 will have the biggest amount of fighters in any other Tekken game. The ANZ edition also includes a metal tin case, exclusive artwork and the Snoop Dog Background stage.

The game features a new Fight Lab mode, where you can customize the moves and appearance of new training character, Combot. Once you clear Fight, you will be given your own customised Combot to use in offline and non-ranked online play.

One-on-one fighting and solo fighter vs. tag-team battles have added more gameplay options for the benefit of experienced and beginner Tekken players. There’s also Pair Play, a team battle for up to four players.

At E3, Nintendo announced that TTT2 is coming to Nintendo’s new console, the Wii U.
